Eric McCarthy

Principal

Eric has over a decade of experience across finance, operations, and investing. He began his career on Wall Street, where he worked in finance and equity research across bulge bracket and boutique investment firms. Eric got his start with technology companies by covering Fintech stocks as an equity research associate. He then gained international technology experience by working at a Fintech startup and a private equity firm in Nigeria and South Africa, respectively. Later, he moved on to Silicon Valley, where he focused on growth-stage technology investing.

As an investor, Eric has executed a wide range of direct and secondary transactions; from seed to change of control.

As an operator, Eric has led and executed on firmwide initiatives, including international expansion, program build-outs, and HR programs.

Eric holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Queens University of Charlotte, where he currently serves as a director on the university’s endowment board. He is also a CFA charterholder and an alumnus of the London School of Economics.

Mr. Bedney has been successful leading project teams, increasing customer service efficacy, and streamlining organizational processes.

Mr. Bedney received a BS in business administration and management from Oakwood University and an MBA in finance and sports management from Seton Hall University.

Mr. Bedney is also the President of ScaleCo portfolio companies PSP Metrics and Safety Control Technology.

Kiff Gallagher is an entrepreneurial executive and corporate advisor with deep experience in environmental and social impact, strategic and brand communications, product development, public policy, and global affairs. He specializes in growing early-mid stage companies, and providing innovative leadership to larger ones in crisis, transition, or in launching new ventures.
 
His clients and industry experience has spanned healthy food/CPG (Califia Farms, Odwalla), technology (Thumbtack, BlockApps), media (Discovery Communications, Univision), global agriculture and development (Winrock Intl, CARE/Gates Foundation), public sector (White House, USAID, State Dept.) and social sector (Corporation for National and Community Service, MusicianCorps). He currently leads a blockchain-based climate tech start-up called TraceCarbon.

Kiff has been an active equity investor for 20 years, a keynote speaker and lecturer at business schools and civic institutions around the U.S. and been featured on NBC Evening News, PBS NewsHour, NPR All things Considered, GQ and other national and local print and digital outlets.

Naomi Domkam

Finance & FP&A

Naomi Domkam is on the go-to-market finance team at Adobe. In this role, she provides data-backed insights to sales leaders, and advises the sales team on deal structure and renewal strategies. She’s also responsible for managing the headcount for a segment of the sales organization. Prior to Adobe, she was at the buy now, pay later firm AfterPay. While there, she built financial models and analyzed data to support decision making on customers, merchants, and pricing; prepared and managed revenue forecasts for US operations; and served as the finance business partner to the North America Marketing team. Naomi also worked in financial planning and analysis at Warner Bros Entertainment, managing the capital investments of the company. She began her career at the public accounting firm KPMG, where she worked closely with both public and private clients.

Naomi earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint Mary’s College of California and her Masters in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University. She is a Certified Public Accountant, and earned her MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

Charles Julius

Charles is a product executive with over a decade of experience leading product teams at multiple hyper growth companies.  Having previous experience as a health care attorney and financial analyst, Charles, began his product career at Procore Technologies where he was the 104th employee and stayed until he established the Procore Platform strategy which included launching Procore Connect (Procore’s public API), Procore App marketplace, and lead the Marketplace ecosystem as a medium to drive growth into new markets and geographies by transforming Procore into a platform company rather than a General Contractor point solution.  

After Procore Charles went onto join Motive (KeepTruckin at the time) as the 2nd Product Manager and was within the first 200 employees at Motive where he established Motive’s App Marketplace and ecosystem strategy as well as establishing Professional Services, API support, and ISV Partnerships teams from scratch.   Currently Charles leads various company strategies including scaling the platform to sell into new verticals and enterprise customers,while owning all core web product and Mobile applications, Platform and security infrastructure, Motive App Marketplace, and Enterprise product teams and strategy at Motive which is now nearly a 4,000 employee company.

Charles holds a Bachelors in Science degree from Oakwood University and a J.D. from University of Maryland.

Steve LeBoeuf

With over 20 years of business and technology experience, Steve has developed and led organizations through rapid growth, including early-stage startups through enterprise IPOs.

Notably, Steve founded a successful systems integration company and contributed to significant growth at a regional Managed Service Provider (MSP). In 2013, he joined Procore (PCOR) as one of the “First 75”. At Procore, he established all information technology functions for a hyper-growth company, successfully scaling the organization to support a global enterprise with 3,500+ employees across 10 countries. This journey culminated in a successful $11 billion IPO for Procore in 2021.

Following Procore, Steve joined another late-stage startup – CircleCI – to lead the Information Technology organization. He was recruited to provide leadership and support continued growth by developing mature IT General Controls (ITGCs), policies, and business processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and security.

Steve’s passion lies in bridging the gap between humans and technology. He leverages transformational leadership principles to fulfill the true purpose of technology: supporting, empowering, and solving problems for individuals.
